Statistics and Fun Facts About the Match Against Cremonese

16 October 2026

Pisa Sporting Club is gearing up to face Cremonese on Saturday (Cetilar Arena, 7:30 p.m.) in a match for Matchday 7 of the Serie BKT Championship. Let’s take a look at the statistics and interesting facts about the upcoming match, courtesy of Opta Facts by Stats Perform:

  • Pisa has won both of its last two matches against Cremonese in Serie BKT (3-1 on the road in November 2024 and 2-1 at home in May 2025) and could record three consecutive wins against this opponent for the first time in the competition.
  • Pisa has remained undefeated in 13 of its 15 home games against Cremonese in Serie BKT (8W, 5D), including the last nine (5W, 4D); among the teams they have faced at least 15 times at home in the league, they have lost fewer times to no other opponent: two, as against Brescia, Modena, and Spezia.
  • Following their 3-0 victory over Vicenza on the last matchday, Pisa could win two consecutive matches with a clean sheet in Serie BKT for the first time since March 2024 (1-0 wins over Cittadella and Ternana) with Alberto Aquilani at the helm—excluding forfeits.
  • Cremonese hasn’t drawn four straight games in Serie BKT since June 1991, and in particular, it could record three consecutive 0-0 draws for the first time since March 1988.
  • Two of the three goals Pisa scored against Vicenza on the last matchday came off headers: no other team has done better in these first six matchdays of Serie BKT, with the Nerazzurri tied with Empoli and Cesena at three goals scored in this manner. Pisa’s victory in the first leg of last season’s Serie A match against Cremonese also came thanks to a header—one by Idrissa Touré off an assist from Mattéo Tramoni.
  • No player born in 2006 or later has been involved in more goals across Serie A and Serie BKT than Emanuele Rao (March 2006): nine—7 goals and 2 assists—tying him with Alphadjo Cisse (October 2006). After scoring against Vicenza on the last matchday, Rao could find the back of the net in two consecutive league matches for the second time in Serie B, following his streak last March.
  • Matteo Bianchetti is the only Cremonese player to have played all 540 available minutes in this league season; furthermore, four of the Grigiorossi defender’s five goals in Serie BKT have come from headers, including all three of his most recent ones, although his last goal in the competition dates back to April 4, 2025, against Reggiana.
