Stefano Moreo was the protagonist of today’s media event held in the “Passaponti” press room at the Cetilar Arena.
The Nerazzurri forward recounted the steps that led to his contract extension: “I reached the end of last season exhausted, drained of energy and motivation; there was an opportunity to transfer to Palermo, but in the end, after discussing it with the club, the coach, and my teammates, I decided to stay, and I’m happy with that decision. The goal now is to channel everything that went wrong last year into positive energy, to meet the new coach’s expectations, and to aim for a return to the top flight. “.
And he spoke about the current situation, both on a personal level and for the team: “In my opinion, we’re a better team today than we were two years ago—and even compared to last season. We’ve brought in some key, top-tier players, and we can compete with anyone; but we need to rediscover the competitive edge we had two years ago. “
