The Cetilar Arena hosted the seventh leg of the Philadelphia Junior Cup – Keep Racism Out, the national youth 7-a-side soccer tournament dedicated to oratories from the 17 cities in the Enilive 2025/2026 Series.

Guests of the Pisa Sporting Club were the athletes from the Parish of St. Peter the Apostle, among the participants of the educational and sports project promoted by Philadelphia, iconic brand of the MondelÄ“z International Group and Title Sponsor of the competition, Lega Calcio Serie A and the Italian Sports Center. The young soccer players, aged 12 to 14, together with boys and girls from the Nerazzurri youth sector, met Idrissa Touré, midfielder of the Pisa Sporting Club, for an in-depth meeting on the project’s core values: friendship, respect and inclusion.

Idrissa Touré told the youth about his experience and emphasized the importance of collaboration and teamwork in soccer and beyond. The youth of St. Peter the Apostle Parish gave the soccer player the “Soccer is Friendship” jersey, a tangible symbol of the values for which the project aims to stand for. The midfielder then autographed the “Philadelphia Junior Cup – Keep Racism Out” uniform, donated by Lega Calcio Serie A to the parish captains, a testament to the project’s educational will.

It is a source of pride for me to be able to represent the Pisa Sporting Club in this important initiative that promotes the main values of sport – was the comment of Idrissa Touré -. and those on which any working group starting with a soccer team must be born. I wish these boys the best; have fun and carry on in life what you learn from playing soccer and sports “.

The Philadelphia Junior Cup, now in its 13th edition, once again espouses the awareness campaign against racism and all forms of discrimination “Keep Racism Out,” promoted by Lega Calcio Serie A in collaboration with UNAR, the National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Respect and inclusion are central themes of the project, addressed during the awareness meeting not only by the Nerazzurri champion, but also by Letizia Corsoni, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sales Operations of Pisa Sporting Club, Riccardo Silvestri, Head of Communication of Pisa Sporting Club, Antonio Narzisi, psychologist at IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris, Oumar Daffe, from the Corporate Social Responsibility Office of Lega Calcio Serie A, and Alfonso Nardella, CSI National Advisor and President of CSI Pisa.

During the months of the competition, from January to May, the young players compete in the territorial, regional and interregional stages, until the eight teams are decreed to fly to Rome to elect the champion team of the edition, with an exceptional final to be played on the grounds of the capital’s Olympic Stadium, just before the Frecciarossa Italian Cup Final.

The project is not developed exclusively on the playing field. In fact, the athletes of the tournament take part in the educational appointments hosted in the venues and training centers of the clubs of the highest championship. During the meetings, together with the Serie A Enilive champions, psychologists, educators and experts, the young players delve into the importance of the values of sport, with the aim of creating more inclusive environments on and off the playing field. The project contributes to shortening the distance between grassroots and top sports, with athletes living the experience of the great champions, entering the Serie A Enilive stadiums, both with walk abouts dedicated to them and by confronting them on the field in the pre-game of the matches of the highest championship.
