Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce that, effective today, Paolo Bianco is the new Head Coach of the first team.
His coaching career began immediately after he retired as a player, culminating at Sassuolo with the club’s historic first promotion to Serie A.
After a brief stint in the Neroverde youth system, Paolo Bianco quickly made a name for himself in Serie C as an assistant coach for Siracusa and Sicula Leonzio. In 2019, he returned to Sassuolo, joining Roberto De Zerbi’s coaching staff, whom he later followed to Shakhtar Donetsk. During the 2022–23 season, he moved to Juventus as part of Massimiliano Allegri’s staff—an experience that preceded his return to the bench as head coach of Modena in Serie B by one year. In February 2025, he joined Frosinone, where he helped secure a hard-fought survival in Serie B, and then moved to Monza the following year, leading the team to promotion to Serie A.
