Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Leonardo Gabbanini as the club’s new sporting director.
Born in 1980, Gabbanini made the transition from player to coach at a very young age, first in the youth academies of Sampdoria and Fiorentina, and then as head coach of Pistoiese and Civitanovese. In 2015, he moved into an administrative role, taking on the position of Chief Scout at Watford and Head of Scouting at Udinese.
His career at the national and international level continued in 2022 with a significant stint at Tottenham as Head of Recruitment/Chief Scout, working closely with the Spurs’ sporting directorate, a role he later filled on an interim basis before leaving the club.
Today marks the start of his journey with Pisa Sporting Club.
