The event will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22 (6:00 p.m.), in the prestigious artistic setting of the Teatro dei Filarmonici in Ascoli for the first official event of the 2026–2027 BKT Series.
The schedule for the upcoming Cadetto league will be unveiled; it will be an asymmetrical schedule—as has been the case for the past three seasons—that includes a Christmas round and will feature an early start to the season with an Open Day on Friday, August 21.
“Just like last year at Palazzo Té in Mantua, this year the regions in our league are once again surprising us with another wonderful venue that we have a duty to promote, thanks to the widespread media coverage that soccer and our league receive,” says President Paolo Bedin.
The evening, hosted by Rai Sport journalist Simona Rolandi and DAZN commentator Alessandro Iori, will feature a special appearance by actor and director Neri Marcoré from the Marche region, as well as a piano performance by Eros Cristiani, composer of the Serie BKT theme song. Guests from the world of sports will also be in attendance, including Serie B legend Daniele Cacia. There will also be a segment dedicated to showcasing traditional Ascoli cuisine.
The event will be streamed live starting at 6 p.m. on the DAZN platform and on Lega B’s YouTube channel; TV coverage will also be provided on Rai Sport, while Sky Sport24 will feature live updates and reports during its sports news broadcast. Fastbreak AI is the evening’s technology partner for compiling the schedules. Audiovisual production and event coordination are handled by Xentek, a local company that operates both nationally and internationally.
During the event, the new Kombat™ Ball BKT Series 2026/2027 will be unveiled. Designed for the tenth consecutive year by Kappa®, it will be available in both a standard version and a special edition dedicated to the international observance on November 25 against violence against women.
