Tomas Esteves was the star of today’s media event held in the “Passaponti” Press Room at the Cetilar Arena.
The Nerazzurri midfielder reflected on the period that kept him off the field and his return to the Nerazzurri squad: “There were some tough times, but I tried to take each day as it came without overthinking things; things have improved in recent months since I went back to training with my teammates, who’ve helped me a lot. Last year, when I rejoined the team, I was struggling because I lacked match fitness. Then I went to Bari, where I had the opportunity to play and get back into top form, even though I still regret the relegation. “.
Of course, the Portuguese midfielder also spoke about the Nerazzurri’s current situation: “This year, aside from a few minor muscle issues, I’ve been training consistently and I feel good. The coach has always played me in midfield, and I feel comfortable in that position because it’s a role I started developing two years ago; I feel like I’m improving every week. On Saturday we’ll play in Vicenza against a strong team that we’ll have to face with great caution: over the past three weeks, we’ve worked hard to put on a great game. “.
