Once again this year, Pisa Sporting Club will be one of the key participants in “GOAL!”, the festival that aims to explore, in detail, all the nuances and contradictions of the world of football storytelling, through the eyes of its key figures.
The event will, in fact, begin on Thursday 1 October with a performance by Federico Buffa, who will recount Italy’s triumphant World Cup ’82 campaign on stage at the Teatro Verdi; but it will continue, from Friday 2 October until Sunday 4 October, at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa with two special events at the Cetilar Arena.
As mentioned, Pisa Sporting Club, together with other prestigious partners including PharmaNutra, will be supporting the organisers of this event, which is set to become a key fixture in the national – and indeed international – calendar of the world’s most popular sport.
He will do so by first taking part in the “Tech & Rehab” panel, scheduled for Friday 1 October (11.00 am) at the Stazione Leopolda; an event featuring Professor Carmelo Chisari of the University of Pisa, Director of the “Rehab and Sport” University Centre for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. He will then go on to take part in the panel discussion, also at the Stazione Leopolda, on Sunday 4 October (4.00 pm) entitled “The Football Shirt”; an overview of the selection and launch of clubs’ official shirts, presented by Nicola Bellapigna (GG Teamwear), Giancarlo Romito (Football World GS), Giorgio Remuzzi (Swappinho) and Corrado Paolucci (Magliofili), who will also be in discussion with the Nerazzurri club’s Marketing and Content Team. In addition, on Saturday and Sunday, coaches from the Pisa SC Academy will be on hand in the play area (from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm) to lead a series of training sessions, naturally decked out in Nerazzurri colours. Finally, Stazione Leopolda will also host a special exhibition stand dedicated to Pisa Sporting Club, featuring all the club’s official merchandise.
But that’s not all. To celebrate this partnership with “GOAL!”, on Saturday 3 October and Sunday 4 October, from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm, the Cetilar Arena will open its doors to a limited number of visitors, who will be able to enjoy an exclusive tour of all the brand-new areas of the stadium, accompanied by stories and memorabilia provided by the Cento-Pisa1909 Football Museum Association.
