Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce the permanent transfer of Filippo Pittarello from US Catanzaro 1929.
A forward born in 1996, Pittarello came up through the Padova youth system and, at just seventeen, made his Serie D debut with San Paolo, recording 18 appearances (3 goals); The following year, he remained in Serie D but played for Padova, contributing to the team’s league title with 2 goals in 15 appearances. After a series of other stints in the National Amateur League, he made his professional debut with Virtus Verona, immediately making a name for himself and moving to Cesena in January 2022; The following year, he scored 5 goals in 34 appearances for Feralpisalò, the team with which he won the Serie C championship. In the summer of 2023, he made his Serie B debut with Cittadella (35 appearances, 6 goals) before moving to Catanzaro; With the Giallorossi, he made 72 appearances (14 goals, 7 assists), helping the team reach the playoffs in the season that just ended
