Pisa Sporting Club’s preparations continue ahead of their official debut in the 2026–2027 season, scheduled for next Monday (Cetilar Arena, 6.00 pm).
Empoli are the opponents in this round of 32 tie in the Coppa Italia FrecciaRossa; it is a single-leg tie, with a penalty shoot-out to be held in the event of a draw at the end of the 90 minutes of normal time. The winners will go on to face the winners of the Fiorentina v Benevento match in the next round.
The Nerazzurri, under the guidance of the coaching staff led by Paolo Bianco, held their traditional technical and tactical training session this morning at the San Piero a Grado Sports Centre. They will be back on the pitch tomorrow morning, on Ferragosto, before carrying out their usual final training session on Sunday ahead of the match.
