Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of negotiations with Carrarese Calcio 1908 regarding the temporary transfer, subject to certain conditions being met, of the playing rights of footballer Simone Zanon
A right-back born in 2001, Zanon developed his footballing skills in South Tyrol and made his first-team debut in the 2018–2019 Serie C season. The following season, he moved to Napoli, playing mainly for their Primavera side, before transferring to Seregno, where he won the 2020–21 Serie D title; he repeated this success the following year whilst playing for Sangiuliano City, the team with whom he also contested the 2022–23 Serie C season. His move to Carrarese in the 2023–24 season coincided with the Apuani’s promotion to Serie B and the subsequent two seasons in the second tier, in which he continued to play a leading role; he made 116 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 17 assists in the yellow and blue shirt.
