Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of negotiations with SS Juve Stabia regarding the permanent acquisition of the playing rights for the soccer player Giuseppe Leone.
A midfielder born in 2001, Leone came up through the Juventus youth system, where he remained until making his professional debut in the 2020–21 season; over two Serie C seasons with Next Gen, he made 60 appearances (1 assist). In the 2022–2023 season, he moved to Siena in Serie C, making 36 appearances for the Bianconeri. The following year, he transferred to Juve Stabia, a team with which he immediately secured promotion to Serie B, going on to play a key role (111 appearances, 6 goals, 7 assists) in the “Vespe’s” run to the playoffs in the season that just ended.
He also made 42 appearances for the Italian national team across all youth categories, from the Under-16s to the Under-20s.
