On the occasion of the 24th day of Serie A Enilive 2025/2026, scheduled for Feb. 6-9, the Lega Calcio Serie A is promoting on all playing fields the “Stop the Frost” Campaign , launched by the UN Refugee Agency-UNHCR with the aim of raising funds to ensure winter aid for millions of refugees and displaced persons.
Until Feb. 15, the campaign can be supported by donating to the charity number 45588.
A grueling winter with minimal humanitarian assistance. This is the harsh reality that millions of refugees and displaced people face today in countries such as Ukraine, Afghanistan and Syria. Never more so than this year, with the drastic reduction in humanitarian aid funding, everyone’s support is crucial. Resources are urgently needed to repair bombed houses, thermally insulate homes, provide stoves, blankets, medicine and hot food, especially for children and the elderly. Without new funding, UNHCR’s ability to secure vital aid will be severely compromised, directly affecting thousands of lives. The most vulnerable families need help.
Now more than ever. Funds raised by UNHCR will be used to provide life-saving aid, such as blankets, winter clothes, stoves, heat insulation kits and support for repairing damaged homes, for millions of refugees and displaced people in 7 countries, including Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine. Once again, alongside UNHCR are two great champions of Italian soccer, Demetrio Albertini and Giuseppe Bergomi, along with Juventus midfielder Khéphren Thuram; with them also Marseille footballer Timothy Weah.
