The Pisa Sporting Club announces that it has appointed Oscar Hiljemark as Head Coach of the First Team.
Swedish, born in 1992, Oscar Hiljemark after an important career as a footballer that ended at just 28 years of age and was embellished by a Swedish national title (Elfsborg 2012), an Eredivisie (PSV Eindhoven 2015) and the title of European Under-21 Champion (2015) with the Swedish national team jersey with which he also participated in the 2018 World Cup collecting 28 appearances (2 goals), he embarked in 2021 on his coaching career on the bench of Aalborg in the Danish top division; in 2024 his return to Elfsborg, a team with which he collected two top placings in the Allsvenskan and 16 matches in the Europa League.
Oscar Hiljemark has signed a contract that will tie him to Pisa Sporting Club until June 30, 2027 with an option.
