Pisa Sporting Club is pleased to announce the successful outcome of negotiations with RFC Antwerp (Belgium) for the outright acquisition of the right to the sports performance of the footballer Rosen Petkov Bozhinov, who as of today joins the Nerazzurra family.
A defender of Bulgarian nationality, born in 2005, Bozhinov grew up footballingly in the youth sector of CSKA Sofia making his debut at a very young age (season 2021-22) in the first team in the top league. After also gaining experience in the Cadetteria with CSKA 1948, he moved to Antwerp in the summer of 2004 where he immediately competed in the Jupiter Pro League, becoming in the current season a staple of “The Great Old,” the oldest club in Belgium (16 appearances, 1 goal). Bozhinov has worn all the jerseys of the Bulgarian youth national teams up to the Under-21 (5 appearances), before making his debut with the senior national team last September 4.
