Let\u2019s take a look at the statistics and interesting facts about the upcoming match, courtesy of Opta Facts by Stats Perform: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Since the early 1970s, Pisa has never won any of the 10 matches it has played against Catanzaro in Serie BKT, with a record of seven draws and three losses in that span, scoring just three goals (one 1-1 and one 2-2): an average of 0.3 per game; among the teams the Tuscan side has never beaten during that period in the league, Catanzaro is the one they\u2019ve faced the most often.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pisa has never lost in the nine home matches it has played against Catanzaro in Serie BKT: four wins in the first four matches in Tuscany and five draws in the most recent encounters; among the teams currently in Serie BKT against which the Nerazzurri have never suffered a home loss in the league, Catanzaro is the team they have faced the most times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After losing 0-1 to Padova on the first matchday, Pisa could lose both of its first two games of the season in a single Serie B tournament for the first time in the era of three points for a win; In general, this hasn\u2019t happened to the Nerazzurri since the 1991\u201392 season (a 2\u20133 loss to Casertana and a 1\u20133 loss to Modena in that instance).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking into account the end of last regular season as well, Catanzaro has lost each of its last three Serie BKT matches by a combined score of 9-6; since returning to the second division in 2023\/24, the Giallorossi have never suffered four consecutive losses in the league.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pisa (4+4) and Catanzaro (3+4) are two of only three teams\u2014along with Palermo (4+3)\u2014that, on the first matchday of the 2026\/27 Serie BKT season, both recorded at least three built-up attacks (open-play sequences of 10 or more passes ending with a shot or a touch in the opponent\u2019s box) and at least three direct attacks (open-play sequences started in their own half, with at least 50% of the movements moving forward and ending with a shot or a touch in the opponent\u2019s box) on the first matchday of the 2026\/27 Serie BKT season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After finishing last season as Mantova\u2019s second-leading scorer (seven goals, tied with Francesco Ruocco and second only to Leonardo Mancuso\u2019s eight), Tommaso Marras was the player who attempted the most dribbles (seven) during the first matchday, in addition to playing nine balls inside the opponent\u2019s penalty area (a record he shares with Alessandro Arena) and creating four scoring chances for his teammates (second only to Jari Vandeputte\u2019s five).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Among the teams he has never lost to in Serie BKT, Pisa (3W, 3D) is one of the three against which Pietro Iemmello has made the most appearances in the tournament: six (the same as against Ascoli and Pescara), including the game-winning goal in Perugia\u2019s 1-0 victory on October 4, 2019.
