We are proud to present a coach who has already done and conquered this category as a coach, as well as a player. We are a newly promoted team, we know the difficulties we will face but we have a clear project and identity that has accompanied us these past 8 years; all this is, and will be, our strength.”

Davide Vaira (Sports Director Pisa SC). “From the very first interviews we sensed a great desire in Alberto Gilardino and we liked this and it made us bet on him. Also because he conquered this category on the field, starting from the bottom, and his enthusiasm will be decisive to face this difficult but challenging season in the best way. We will have to do everything to maintain the category but I know we will succeed, because I know how this club works and how our coach works ”

Alberto Gilardino (Pisa SC Coach). “I thank the Ownership, Alexander Knaster, the Corrado family and the Director for the trust they have shown me. I am a young coach with a great culture of hard work and sacrifice. That is what I will try to convey to the team that I would like to succeed in always having a Garibaldi spirit. I have found a strong group with great enthusiasm and in these days, during the retreat in Morgex, we will make the appropriate evaluations calmly and carefully having a clear idea of our project, in the maximum sharing that we have had since our first meeting. We will need the whole environment, we will have to be like a train pulling straight. There will be difficult moments and good moments. When there is a libeccio we will need to be good at closing the windows, but we will have to remain compact and united throughout the season “.

The full version of today’s press conference is available on the Pisa Sporting Club channel present on the YouTube platform.
